Stanley FHHA Chief
Gilbert J. Stanley has been reelected chief of the Fairchester Hose Haulers Association, an organization of fire departments and individuals from New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, who own and operate antique fire apparatus.
Stanley is chairman of the annual FHHA Antique Fire Apparatus Show & Muster which is held in June of each year at Kensiico Dam Plaza, Valhalla, N.Y. Under his leadership and that of Assistant Chief Warren P. Lyon of the Pelham Manor Fire Department, who is also assistant chief of FHHA, the event has grown to be the largest of its type in the nation, each year attracting over 150 antique fire engines from seven states to compete in pumping and restoration contests.
