Sager Chief of Muskogee, Okla.
Henry P. Sager, who has been serving as Acting Chief of Muskogee, Okla., since the retirement of Chief George Higginbotham after twenty-three years of service, has been appointed as head of the Fire Department.
Chief Sager began his career under Ex-Chief Higginbotham in March, 1908, and he has been with the department since then. His promotions were rapid. In 1910 he became a Captain in the department, in 1916 he became Assistant Chief. When Chief Higginbotham was forced to leave active service because of his health, Chief Sager was named Acting Chief.
