Rhode Island Chiefs Meet
The second annual banquet of the Fire Chiefs’ Club of Rhode Island was held in the Hotel Dreyfus, Providence, R. I., on February 13 with 175 members and guests present.
Chief Frank Charlesworth, of Providence, is President of the club and Chief A. J. Cote, of Woonsocket, is First VicePresident. E. A. Capwell is Second Vice-President, Dr. T. V. Daley is Secretary, and Clarence Cook is Treasurer. The guests were Governor Norman S. Case, of Rhode Island; Lieut.-Governor James G. Connolly, Senators W. H. Vanderbilt, Daniel F. McLaughlin and Harry T. Bodwell; Representative Ira Marcus, Assistant Attorney General Sigmund W. Fischer, Fire Commissioner Elmer S. Cowan and Eire Commissioner William G. Thurber, of Providence; Chief Sclden R. Allen, of Brookline, Mass., President of the Eire Chiefs’ Club of Massachusetts; Chief R. A. Bogan, of Baton Rouge, La.; and P. Hildreth Parker, of Belmont, Mass., President of the Box 52 Association of Boston.
