PUMPING ENGINES
At the last meeting of the Yonkers, N. Y., water board Superintendent Lockwood reported that during the last month the engines at the low-pumping station had run 571 hourse, pumping 109,000,000 gallons of water, and the engines at the high-service station had run 302 hours, pumping 6,250,000 gallons of water.
The cost of the new pumping station for the Newburgh, N. Y., water works, will be $2,700.
