Plans Made for Illinois Convention
安排被米ade for an extensive display of fire apparatus and equipment at the forty-second annual convention of the Illinois Firemen’s Association that will be held in Joliet, Ill., September 10-12. Chief Albert Herring of Murphysboro is chairman of the exhibit committee. The display will be in the Chamber of Commerce Building, the same place where the meetings will be held. A tent is to be erected to house the very large exhibits.
Space in the building is being rented at twenty-five cents a square foot, and a charge of fifteen cents a square foot is being made for space in the tent. Each exhibitor will be provided with a booth free but no decorations or signs will be supplied.
