M. W. Strait, of Zanesville, Ohio, has accepted the appointment as city engineer of Anderson, S. C.
T. E. Sheehan, of Worcester, Mass., has accepted the appointment offered him by Service Director John H. Morgan, of Cambridge, Mass., as superintendent of water works. Mr. Sheehan is a graduate chemical engineer recently discharged from the army.
