"Operation Firestop" Tests Encourage Fire Researchers
HOPE that a national fire research program may be formed has been voiced by Dr. Keith Arnold of the University of California School of Forestry and Manager of “Operation Firestop.”
“‘Firestop’ has gone much better than we anticipated,” Dr. Arnold stated. “Actually, we have done quite well considering this is an exploratory program —it is a complete success in this way because it is developing leads and showing us what directions to go.
