OHIO FIRE CHIEFS' CLUB HAS INTERESTING CONVENTION

Many Important Papers Are Well Discussed by the Members—List of Officers Elected— The Results of the Interesting Tournament

SEVERAL important addresses on practical fire-fighting and fire-prevention subjects were listened to and discussed by the Fire Chiefs’ Club of Ohio at its seventh annual convention which took place at the Virginia Hotel, Columbus. Ohio, on June 17 and 18. This convention was conducted in affiliation with the Division of State Fire Marshal, State of Ohio. In addition to visiting fire chiefs from all parts of the state, there was a large representation from the office of the State Fire Marshal, including many deputies and assistants. The convention was called to order promptly by the President, Chief Thomas J. Gough, of Conneaut. The complete program as outlined below, was carried through with much verve, and with many lively discussions interspersed. It was the order of the day for every address to be followed by a questionnaire upon the subject just discussed, and the visiting chiefs used this opportunity to advantage.
