Ogden Department Makes Long Run
The fire department of Ogden, Utah, of which George A. Graves is chief, made the longest run in its history and by so doing probably saved the town of Huntsville from being wiped out by fire on November 15. Chief Graves received an appeal at 8:30 p. m. and started at once in his car in company with a triple combination pumper and upon arriving at Huntsville found the fire in a frame dwelling. They confined the blaze to this residence and thereby saved the town from destruction. The total mileage of the run by the department was twenty-six.
