New York Firemen Continue to Send in Efficiency Suggestions
Commissioner Adamson of New York, continues to receive suggestions from the firemen for improving the efficiency of the department. Some of the following, which were submitted recently, have been adopted:
William H. Vette, Fireman First Grade, H. & L. Co. 78. 1. That a book be compiled containing all the laws, ordinances and regulations affecting the administration of the Fire Department such as sections of the Charter. Building and Tenement House, Codes of Labor and Factory Laws, Penal Code, Regulations of the Municipal Explosives Commission, Regulations adopted by the Board of Standards, etc., be issued to each company for the information and guidance of the uniformed force.
