Worcester, Mass. (S. E. Combs, Chief), has purchased two more of those famous Bangor Extension Ladders. They are to be carried on a new Truck just being put into service by Chief Combs.
In the letter of our Boston correspondent, last week, it was stated that, although the Holland Service Pipe was giving splendid satisfaction in every other respect, one roan had been somewhat injured by its use. Later information is to the effect that the injured Pipeman was making the Pipe an implement to break open a window, and that his hurts were due to that fact. From all accounts the Holland Pipe is winning many friends wherever it is in use.
