Buildings more than 150 feet high must have one elevator ready for use by the fire department at all times The standpipe required must be four inches in diameter. For buildings 150 feel high a six-inch standpipe and a steam pump must be provided. These standpipes must have three-inch Siamese street, connections and two and one-half-inch outlets, with hose attached on the floors In buildings over nine stories high already provided with a three-inch standpipe no change need be made.
