Land Donated for Station
Two acres of land for a fire station have been given to the City of Westland, Mich., by the Leho Corporation, which is developing a 130-acre industrial center. The new station, Chief Ralph Savini said, will protect a four-square-mile area, including the industrial center. Preliminary plans call for a $125,000 structure to house a pumper and a rescue truck.
