Members of the Indianapolis Fire Department responded earlier today to a working fire at Our Savior Lutheran Church.

Firefighters located the fire in the basement, and there was no extension to the upper floor, although there was heavy smoke throughout the structure. No one was inside the church when the fire occurred, and damage is estimated at $1M.

每副主任詹姆斯·博伊德,我们Savior Lutheran Church was established in 1939. Construction on the main structure was started in 1939 and completed in 1947. The church was added on to in 2002, and will celebrate its 80thanniversary on October 19, 2019.
