Higher Education Seminar
A two-day seminar for discussing ways of improving fire service higher education programs will be sponsored by the International Fire Service Institute April 6 and 7 at the State University of New York at Albany.
Discussions will cover such areas as professionalism in relation to education, program development and implementation, motivation, understanding between the fire service and educational institutions, state and federal aid, independent study programs, coordination of junior and senior colleges, consideration of quality and quantity, accreditation and evaluation, college standards, recruitment and textbooks.
