Full Dress Fire Fighting
As the Midway Fire Department, Town of Colonie, N. Y., was entering the Village of Catskill to participate in the annual Hudson Valley parade recently, it was flagged down and notified of a fire nearby in a small, one-story, frame chicken coop, fully involved. Fire being fire no matter where it is, the Midway firemen stretched in and knocked it down. Another company responds to this area and had been summoned but Midway was “the first with the most.” The “most” included the best dressed fire fighting outfit, complete with auxiliary, at almost any fire that day.
