Firefightersresponded Saturday afternoon to a fire that nearly demolished a Knox County (TN) church, according to a news report.
There were no injuries, according to a report from theNews Sentinel. Fire photographer Mike Watiker shared some pics from the scene.
Firefighters responded in eight minutes and found 35-40 percent of the church already burning, and there was no sprinkler system, the report said. There were also no hydrants in the area, so crews had to set up a water supply.
Among the departments responding were Rural/Metro and the Karns Fire Department.
