Fire Station Dedicated
A 10,850-square-foot station with a 1,200-square-foot maintenance shop was dedicated in September by the Fairfield, Calif., Fire Department and the Fairfield Firemen’s Association. The city paid $252,000 and the volunteer association $810,000 for the station, which has dormitory space for 20 men and facilities for handling junior college fire science classes.
