The author, a former working news photographer and executive director of a publishing firm, has served for more than 12 years as public relations chairman of the Ridgefield, N. J., Volunteer Fire Department in which he holds the rank of lieutenant. Being located in the metropolitan New York area, the Ridgefield Fire Department recognizes that it must work in cooperation with more than a dozen New York and New Jersey newspapers, and a large number of radio and TV stations. “We enjoy excellent relationships on all levels and extend mutual cooperation on all occasions,” states Lieutenant Ifannigan.
