Fire Bids Opened.
Peoria, Ill.—Press reports state the Manhattan Rubber Manufacturing Company of Passaic. N. J., has been awarded contract for furnishing 5,000 feet of fire hose.
Paducah, Ky.—Contract has been let to the American-La France Fire Engine Co., of Elmira, N. Y., for a fire engine, 500 feet of hose, hose reel, etc.
