The mayor of Thibodaux, La., suggests that the city should obtain a supply of pure water by piping from Donaldsonville and filtering the Mississippi river water. The only objection is the cost.
Several well-known water experts have recently inspected the water works system of Fargo, N. D., and especially its newly completed up-to-date water filtration and purification plant. They pronounced the latter one of the finest and most efficient in the country and marking a new epoch in water filtration.
