FDIC Program Spiced With Variety
The program for the Fire Department Instructors Conference March 30 to April 2 in Kansas City, Mo., ranges from talks on teaching methods to discussions of major fire disasters.
This 43rd annual conference will be held in the Kansas City Municipal Auditorium, as it was last year when it drew more than 4,200 persons from the United States and several foreign countries. There is no fee for attending this conference, which is sponsored by the Fire Prevention Department of the Western Actuarial Bureau in Chicago and the Kansas City, Mo., Fire Department in cooperation with metropolitan area fire departments. The conference chairman is Kenneth L. Stanton, director of the WAB Fire Prevention Department.
