PROSPERITY in 1923, judging from present indications, seems to be assured in the fields which FIRE AND WATER ENGINEERING represents. Many elements are working toward this end. One of these is the fact that prices have apparently reached about the lowest level that can be hoped for for some time to come and perhaps will even advance. This seems to be the consensus of opinion both among manufacturers and heads of municipal departments—opinion based upon mature deliberation and a careful study of conditions in these fields.
