Dual Office for W. J. Scott
Fire Marshal W. J. Scott, K. C., of Ontario, had the unique distinction of holding at the same time the presidencies of both the Canadian and the international organizations of Fire Marshals when he was elected Chairman of the Fire Marshals’ Section of the National Fire Protection Association, at their annual meeting in Chicago, May 8. Mr. Scott's term as President of the Assocsiation of Canadian Fire Marshals did not expire until May 15, so that the President of the Canadian organization became the first Canadian to head the international association since this has been affiliated with the N.F.P.A.
