Denver Goes to Assistance of Utah Junction

A fire which broke out in the Denver-Salt Lake Railroad shops at Utah Junction recently resulted in a loss of $500,000. In spite of the fact that this fire was out of the Denver, Col., city limits, Chief J. F. Healy went in person to the scene and directed the efforts of the men working for the company in the extinguishment of the fire. There were no fire apparatus and the blaze was fought with the company’s own equipment, it being impossible on account of the location to get the city fire apparatus to the spot.
