Death of D. E. Rowley

D. E. Rowley, who for a number of years represented the H. Mueller Manufacturing Company in Indiana and parts of Kentucky, died at his home in Indianapolis. September 18, 1914, after an illness of about ten days. He came in off the road and did not appear seriously ill, but his condition became rapidly worse, ending in his untimely death. Mr. Rowley is survived by a wife, mother, and several brothers and sisters. He had been with the Mueller Company for ten or twelve years and was one of the most popular salesmen in the employ of the company. He had a wide following of personal friends in the trade. The funeral occurred in Indianapolis on September 21 at 2.00 p. m. Six Mueller salesmen were sent to Indianapolis to attend the funeral and officiate as pall bearers of their deceased brother. They were M. T. Whitney, Chicago; J. H. McCormick, Huron, Ohio; James Smith. Milwaukee; E. B. Cameron, Detroit; H. F. Clark, Decatur, and E. A. Mann, Decatur, General Sales Manager of the Company.
