FROM time to time suggested methods have been offered to the readers of this journal for handling specific types of oil fires. Because of the great number of different processes and types of establishments engaged in this work, it would not be possible to outline the methods of operation to be employed at all the different individual types of fires. Hence, to round out the articles which have previously appeared on this subject, the following general information is presented.
