Criticized, Firemen Return Home
After travelling three miles outside the town limits, the volunteer fire department of Monticello, N. Y., was criticized for arriving late at a fire. When the chief heard the comments, he told his men not to turn on the water.
"If that’s the way they feel about it they can put their own fire out.”
