Company Will Make Test Case of Employe’s Arrest.
The arrest of Joseph Bello, an employe of the Hackensack Water Company, in West Hoboken, N. J., recently, for opening a street without permit is expected to be an important test case and present indications point to it being bitterly fought by the water company.
Walter Walsh, a foreman of the local street department, found Bello opening a stret, and placed him under arrest for not having a permit to do so. Walsh made a complaint against the man for violating the town ordinance.
