CUMMINS ENGINE COMPANY, INC., has received the second annual Technical Achievement Award, presented by the Truck Writers of North America (TWNA) for introduction of a heavy-duty electronic engine technology known as FSP. These “smart” engines are capable of sensing situations which call for added power and torque.
“Solutions Tour '93," a mobile information center designed to showcase the company’s complete line of products and services, has been launched by NATIONAL FOAM Introduced on April 3rd at the Fire Department Instructors Conference in Cincinnati, the tour will continue through December. The tour includes multimedia presentations designed to instruct in areas such as vapor suppression; regulatory and environmental issues; vessel and dock, storage tank, aircraft hangar, and loading rack protection; and foam equipment and applications. The tour schedule includes fire schools and shows.
