Four civilians and twofirefighters were injured in a fire early Friday morning in Newark, New Jersey, according to news report.
The fire broke out around 3:30 a.m. on the third floor of a multi-family home, reports CBS New York. Firefighters reportedly rescued a mother and two children; the three were critically injured. The children’s father was also hospitalized, and two firefighters suffered minor injuries.
A total of five buildings were damaged in the fire, and dozens of residents were displaced.
