Total expenditures for the year are $153,094.10. The largest item in this amount is the pay roll, which is put down as $124,978.23. The chief engineer receives $2,200 per year; first assistant engineer, $1,500; other assistant engineers, $400 per year; call men, $200 per year, and, permanent men $2.75 per day.
