Chief D. W. Brosnan, of Albany, Ga., Vice-President of the International Association of Fire Chiefs, was the main speaker at a luncheon meeting of the Rotary Club in Macon, Ga.
He stressed the importance of fire prevention and salvage work rather than fire fighting. He said that the time is rapidly coming when fire colleges will be established so that firemen may attend short courses and receive expert advice and experience in fire fighting.
