Carleton E. Davis Changes His Position
CARLETON E. DAVIS for 11 years chief of the Philadelphia Bureau of Water and since 1923 General Manager of the Indianapolis Water Company has resigned that position and has been appointed manager of the Philadelphia Suburban Water Company.
Mr. Davis was graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1893. In the following year, he became engineer in charge of the construction of the Manchester, N. H. water works, including a pumping station reservoir and pipe lines. From 1894 to 1895, Mr. Davis was engineer in charge of construction of the additional water supply of New Bedford, Mass.
