Burns Reappointed Fire Commis. of Ithaca
Williams L. Burns, one of the fire commissioners of Ithaca, N. Y., has been reappointed by Mayor Sawdon, of that city, and the city council has unanimously confirmed the appointment.
Mr. Burns has been connected with city affairs for many years, having at one term served as chief of the fire department and is credited with having equipped the first chief's car for use in time of fire.
