Boston Wool Warehouse Burns
A five-alarm fire rocketed through the roof of the six-story National Wool Marketing Corporation warehouse in Boston, Mass., on March 6, but the loss was largely in raw stocks due to water damage.
Fire Chief Samuel Pope estimated damage to building and contents at $250,000. Seven firemen suffered minor injuries.
