Boston’s Fire Boat.
At the meeting of the Boston Council, last week, Mr. Spencely submitted a report from the Joint Committee on Fire Department, on the order in relation to the pay and rations of the crew of the fire boat, recommending the passage of the following substitute for the original order.
Ordered, That the pay of the officers and men employed in the service of the Fire Department be, and it is hereby increased the sum of $rqo each per annum, said increase to take effect from the beginning of the present year.
