GEORGE BATCHELDER and his gang of well-known water works golfers were only too willing to pose for the FIRE AND WATER ENGINEERING camera man up at Holyoke at the recent convention.
AND why not? Didn’t they have the distinction of counting among their number no less a personage than His Honor, the Mayor of Holyoke? They did, and we’ll say they did! Mayor Cronin is strong for water works conventions—particularly the sessions that are held on nearby golf courses.
