Multicompany Response Needed at Massive GA Warehouse Fire



According to a report fromCBS46, several fire companies were working early Monday to extinguish a massive warehouse fire in Brunswick, Georgia.

The Brantley County Emergency Management Agency (BCEMA) posted on Facebook that the Brunswick Fire Department (BFD) battled theintense fireat a warehouse owned by Logistec, a biofuel company.

The warehouse stores wood pellets at Mayor’s Point in the Port of Brunswick. According to the BCEMA, this is the same location of a previous warehouse fire in July 2015.

The BFD was aided by assistance from the Waynesville, Hortense, and Nahunta Volunteer fire departments.

Fire officials have not reported any injuries in the fire.
