A minivan crashed into three police cruisers today in Prince George’s County, Maryland, seriously injuring one police officer.
WNEW reports (http://cbsloc.al/1nhygoW) that the five-vehicle crash took place just about 9 a.m. Thursday during a traffic stop in Forestville.
Three officers were reportedly outside their cruisers during a routine traffic stop on the side of northbound Pennsylvania Avenue when a minivan came speeding at them. One officer was struck by the vehicle; two others were unharmed.
The vehicles suffered significant damage. Photos from the scene showed wrecked police vehicles spun around on a roadway littered with debris.
