The Roseville (MI) Fire Department got a call of a fire at a nearbyplantwith possible people trapped. Firefighters were able to see smoke from the station and called for asecond-alarm response.
On arrival, they found heavy smoke and fire coming from the rear side of the building. They were able to quickly extinguish the flames with damage only being done to a small area of the building.

The cause is not know for sure, but was thought to have started while someone waswelding.
One person was taken to the hospital and another person was overcome with smoke.
Mutual aid was provided by Warren, Clinton Township, Fraser, Eastpointe, and St. Clair Shores.
