Firefightersrescuedtwo people, one of whom was in a wheelchair, from an apartment fire Saturday night in the Chicago suburb of St. Charles, Illinois.
The Chicago Sun-Timesreported (http://bit.ly/1eNDqqb) that firefighters responding to the fire found heavy smoke coming from the second floor of the apartment complex. Crews found one person hanging over the balcony and another person in a wheelchair trapped in a bedroom.
No firefighters were injured in the fire, which was brought under control in about 30 minutes.
