When operating on top floor fires at flat-roof structures, the roof team is often in the best position to take (vent) the windows in the fire room(s) on the top floor. This drill outlines two methods that a roof team can utilize to quickly accomplish this task.
Always keep in mind that these operationsMUSTbe coordinated with the actions of the engine company, and should not be initiated until a charged line is in position to attack the fire.
