Fire damaged or destroyed at least 10 cars in theparking garageof the Seattle-Tacoma InternationalAirportearly Tuesday.
An airport spokesman toldThe Seattle Times(http://bit.ly/11C4ETO) that eight cars were destroyed by the fire, two others were damaged by fire, and several others may have been damaged by smoke traveling through thegarage‘s sixth floor.
No injuries were reported, and investigators believe the fire was the result of a mechanical malfunction in one of the vehicles.
Firefighters from the Port of Seattle and the city of SeaTac battled the fire, which sent smoke billowing through the north end of the sixth floor.
