Civilian, Two Firefighters Injured in Philadelphia Warehouse Fire

Twofirefightersand another man were injured in a four-alarm warehouse fire early this morning in theKensingtonsection of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The fire began about 2:30 a.m. at a vacant warehouse then spread to a neighboring paper storage company, according to the local CBS affiliate (http://cbsloc.al/1qRnTJD).

The fire was placed under control just after 4 a.m., but heavy smoke lingered in the area for some time.

A 25-year-old man was reportedly hospitalized with severe burns to the majority of his body. Two firefighters also suffered minor injuries.

Thewarehousewhere the fire started was completely destroyed and there was heavy damage to the paper company. Another exposure was also damaged.
