Calgary (Canada) Fire Destroys Multiple Homes, Displaces 100

An early morning fire destroyed two homes, damaged two others, and temporarily displaced 100 people in Calgary, Alberta.

The fire broke out just after 2 a.m. in the community of Auburn Bay, according to CTV (http://bit.ly/1ffN0PW). No one was injured and police say that no one is reported missing.

Firefighters controlled the fire but were waiting for the local utility to turn off some gas lines that were continuing to fuel the fire before they could investigate.

The majority of residents were allowed to return to their homes once the fire had been controlled.
