更多的money will be flowing to Pennsylvania’s emergency medical service providers to help them recover from personnel and financial losses exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Senate on Wednesday voted unanimously to send to Gov. Tom Wolf法案这创建了一项2500万美元的紧急医疗服务Covid-19-19恢复赠款计划，并通过《联邦美国救援计划法》获得的资金。
Wolf will sign the bill into law, said a spokeswoman following the Senate vote. The House passed the measure on Tuesday by a 200-0 vote.

Nathan Silcox, president of the Hampden Township commissioners, said his township’s EMS received $5,856 from that prior grant program and used it to purchase personal protective equipment.

Concern about the health of EMS agencies became a particular concern in rural areas throughout the pandemic, House Speaker Bryan Cutler, R-Lancaster County, told PennLive.
