Lead Instructor: Captain Scott Kraut, Fairfax County (VA) Fire and Rescue
This class will allow students to put many of their basic skill sets to the test in a series of realistic scenarios that test their ability to manipulate those basic skill sets while under stress. The stressors will increase as each task is handled. For example, if the scenario requires vent-enter-isolate-search (VEIS) while a hose team is deploying to the first story, then once the VEIS task has been met with some stress applied, there will be another task to be completed immediately after that will be even more stressful.
