Mirror, mirror, on the wall

If there are no parameters for performance, how can the team know when they achieve success? A team that is loyal to both the leader and the mission will ultimately hit the mark. A strong leader knows the risks involved in poor performance, and looks to set high yet accomplishable individual and team goals. That leader then motivates and inspires greatness in each member of the team. They do not revel in their own accomplishments, but bask in the glow of team successes.

While there are many potential barriers to effectively communicating a message and getting the team all together on the same page, setting the example speaks volumes.
