No one was injured when fire struck the firehouse of the Bruceton (TN) Fire Department yesterday morning, according to a news report.
The local ABC affiliate reported (http://bit.ly/1wjJfBH) that investigators believe the fire sparked because of a problem with the alternator inside a vehicle that was parked inside the building.
The building caught fire around 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, and burned through three of four bays, causing the roof of the fire station to collapse.
Crews saved twofire trucksand a rescue vehicle. The damage was estimated at about $300,000.
